I remember that I hated windows 3.11.. prefer the "Direct Access" menu running on my DOS 6.2.2. Funny reason behind it was the first computer that I saw and used belongs to a lefty (I think) because after I get my own computer (age 17), I was using the mouse with my left hand. No wonder I always had to change the mouse button preference in windows 3.11.

It's going to be my nay our big day soon. Big number 1. First wedding anniversary. Maal Hijrah is coming up in a few days time which means it will be exectly 1 year hijri since I gotten married. Gregorian date says it's going to be next week but I prefer the hijri date (30th Zulhid'ja, last day of the last month of the year).

The first year went so fast for us. Munchkins have since quit her job and moved to KL with me. She has started her masters studies in UPM and things has been great for the both of us. A lot of patience as we start our new life with each other. I realized that if n = largest number, you can always add 1 to n (n +1). That's how much I love my munchkins.

We're anxiously waiting for our trip to sarawak. I've fotgotten to buy first aid supplies for the trip while we were at midvalley on saturday. Must remember to do it this week. we'll be needing cheap canvas shoes for the hike in Bako National park as well. Everything else is set, I think.

I've setup vmware on the house computer and installed fedora FC2 as guest operating system. vmware rocks I have to say. Tho I need to tweak the fedora installation alittle bit because of the limited cpu and memory resource on the old pc. It's amazing that vmware allows me to create a virtual machine and install linux/ any os on top of my current os. Complete linux installation that runs in a window on my XP desktop. It's a virtual machine but feels as if I'm interacting with another machine in my network. Now I have native linux environment for my development work, without dual booting. I feel that I should pay the good people at vmware for their good job. :)

Ummi is coming back home this sunday. We misses her so much. We're thinking what to cook to welcome her back. I'm sure ummi is missing noodles while she's away in mecca.

In the glorious US you'll get sued for even when trying to be nice. for all you too busy to click and read, two teenage girls baked some cookies, wrap them nicely and left them to their neighbours as surprise treat. A neighbour in return decided to sue them for making her scared.

I had absolutely delicious assam laksa today at midvalley jusco. They're nyonya variant of laksa utara. Interesting coz I swear I can taste sardines in there. Munchkins had them few days ago and absolutely loved i hence the recommendation. So next time you lots at the midvalley megamall, drop by jaya juso and sample their assam laksa yeah?

Saw bridget jones diary. hilarious.. but the erm wierdly worrying thing was that sitting a row infront of us were a bunch of 14 -16 year old boys clearly enjoying the movie. Oh man, you'll have to be gay to watch bridget jones diary without a girl by your side. Are those faggots in the making? I'm worried. My kids going to climb trees and lastik girls and not watch chick movies until they are forced to by their girlfriends or wives. (To guys reading this :what? you went to watch bridget jones with your buddies too? you fag!) hehehe :p

I seriously need to stop dreaming la.. and get my priorities right. Earlier this year I went in to boss room and asked for feedback of my performance last year. Boss has good words, ranked me one of his top staffs. But he also told me that he feels that I was out of my prime for a few months. Not my best performance coming to end of last year. Guilty.. taking too much time off and not getting work done. I had to agree, I feels that my love for this job is going away fast. Heck, somedays I just hang around in the office, reading blogs and occasionally check on stuff. Complecent as wa would say.

Don't get me wrong, it made me feels guilty like hell seeing so much that the rest of the team does and I get away with as little work possible. And sitting beside star employee does not help either. JH is a true asset to the company and it kills me to see he work while I lazy around doing god knows what.Berlakon busy

Munchkins said that I hate my work. hmm maybe I just hate working. I have a freelance job overdue so much that munchkins have gave up nagging about it. I feel bad about the whole thing. Pemalas..
