testing weekend

defective timing belt causing me a bomb. It still have 15,000 KM to go before need to be replaced (every 60,000 KM) but mine decided to fail and chewed my engine parts with it. :(

Car stalled on the exit curve to KL _Seremban highway, 1.5 KM from my exit to my home. I panicked at first, don't know what to do. Called up Maybank Auto assist and they sent a tow truck (RM 70) and towed to the workshop. Next day went over to teh workshop to see my air/fuel/exhaust valves are badly bent & damaged, and some of my valve heads literally broke to pieces!. I'm paying this through the nose I said. True enough, a replacement head, gasket, new timing belting & engine oil & labour to cost me rm 650. I asked the mechanic to repair my defective central locking & rear passanger window and it goes up to rm 700.

I spent the whole weekend playing diablo on playstation. Pouring my angst to every demon and undeads I came across in the catacombs. And on sunday we went to shop for munchkins' clothes & jeans. Sorry I wasn't a good company on sunday. Can't take my mind of the car.

The car will be ready later today and I will be a fortune poorer. I'm just thankful to Allah that it happened to me while I'm driving. I hate to think that it could happen whiel munchkins were driving to & fro class. I'm goignt o look after our car better start erm tomorrow.

Orthodontics braces on the way, her molar removal appointment this coming thursday. She's smiling ear to ears.. (I love that smile ). On the way back we stop by Carrefour and picked up a brand new Telly & DVD player. Both Philips. Silly me for thinking the TV would actually fit in the car. Had to chuck out the box to finally fit the TV into the back seat. Am hour and 6 phone calls to carrefour customer service later, I finally got the TV up (Problem with the 2 AV input sharing single AV channel and not mentioning in the manual/ spec sheet). Munchkins was ssoooo happy to finally be able to experiance oprah in full color, not all red foe teh past few months.

Decided to give the new DVD player a spin and load up Agent Cody Banks DVD. We were asleep not halfway in the movie. Too juvenile! Quick meal of munchkins out-of-this-world meggi mee while watching Dodgeball and the we're off to UPM for her discussion.

We spent the rest of the evening in KLIA airport, talking, enjoying each other's company. Along's flight touched down at 10pm and half an hour later my precious niece nadila were telling us on the way about kangaroos are like giants and she's scared of them. Oh yeah Ummi went back the day before on a separate flight due to some problem with her flight bookings.

My KMK outing had to be pushed to 24th april due to the club will be having their AGM on the 17th. hmmm :( no gun powder joy yet

updates for now

looking forward to april 10th, we're going back to kuantan :) I love being in kuantan. Ummi is on sydney/ perth trip with along and kak sue & precious nadila. I'm going to have to give up my desktop pc to my sis who needs it to do work at home.Good thing I got the wireless router setup. Hate to have to connect the adsl modem to my laptop. hmmm

hungry, I've got the munchies all week. craving for something I think, not quite sure what... hmm blood? nah.. it's hunger, not thirst..

I love tofu and megas xlr.. I know wierd combination.. coz coop hates tofu and I love coop, well I love megas actually, not coop..

oh yeah, looking forward to bring munchkins for her ortho braces this saturday. I'm going to make her a happy happy girl :)
