the drapes are up!

finally... yay for me and munchkins.. I also put the computer back together again and moved it to munchkin's study room. Installed wall fan and a shelf too so that it's not all warm and stuffy in there. I must have inhaled some dust from the drilling that I did, coz I feel horrible the rest of the weekend. Runnign nose, headache, felt like fever coming up .. so I boiled us some barley.

Friday was TZ's last day before she's leaving for germany. She released some scripts that her replacement and a tech wrote to production the day before and all hell broke loose comes friday morning. It must have been 60 plus machines down, filesystem corrupted, got moved around like crazy, thanks to the faulty script. Reminds me of my first screwup not few years ago. So we spent the whole day from 8am to 10pm working, cracking our head trying to bring things up. Nobody had lunch eventho boss went and bought KFC for everyone. I did take time off to go for friday prayers. The rest of the team worked non stop.

I took another break at 4pm because I promised JH to move his server to the new IP range. The move was a breeze but then everything started to fall apart the instant DNS got repointed to the new IP. So there I was, going through codes to change things. Cyrus SASL db apparently stores auth as user@host! so we ended up having to recreate user acocunts for that apllication. 86 users and JH said he'll share the task to create those accounts. It would have taken us few hours to do so but I decided to whip up a script to do it in 15 seconds. Hehehe.. who wants to do data entry, not me, never!

Anyway things got back to order by 8pm. Munchkins picked me up from after her class and we rushed back to send my brother to KLIA. Went back home around midnight and slept like a log. Woke up with an unbelievable hardon, hmm something wrong somewhere? :P

boboy came to an end last night

and he wonder will he miss us. I will sure be missing him...

I just hope his passing is a smooth and one. Hope sis is able to take it calmly. I am usually the one that buries our family cats when they die but maybe not this time...

As ummi said, boboy will be our last family cat. She can't afford to lose another pet. Munchkins saw some kittens for adoption over at lelong.com.my (wierd place to advertise pet adoption even if it's for free..) she wanted one but I guess I'm not ready to have a pet cat. Hmm maybe I'll stick to potted plants for now.. my little herb garden still need some love and care.

weekend

lousy weekend...
spent 2 days chasing quotation for a small job to pay for our (me and munchkins) sarawak holiday. Turned out the bugger bailed out at the last minute on saturday. Which left me with zero day to get another supplier, I was about to give up then a friend came into mind. Called up ESS and he's willing to help. He'll try and get the quotation faxed to our customer by Monday noon (few more hours to go).

Went over to KLCC to collect cables for my clie, had to wait for 2 hours for the seller. Saw the new look on PS2. Much slimer, just like how they slimmed down Sony Playstation to PSOne sold now. Price still RM799 tho... that's RM700 mroe than I'm willing to spend.. had absurdly expensive tea at starbucks and played simcity classic on my clie.. what a way to kill off 2 hours..

boboy gotten really sick.. sis had to kurung him because he could not control his bladder anymore. We all know that the poor cat is dying of old age.. 12 years old .. alot of love and memories with boboy... I went over to pick him up, cuddled him .. wrap him up in a blanket to keep him warm for his final days.. I'm sad..

I miss ummi, tried calling HJZ incase he's with ummi over in mecca. Could not seem to get to his handphone.. international operator said that line too bad to connect us. Maybe we'll try again to call in afew days time.

oh yeah, my sis can now cook :) had lunch at her place (mum's palce) on saturday.. not bad sis.. her husband is in good hands :)

distracted...

dateline today. I need to finish up that java module before TZ leaving next week. Preasure..
can't really work on it can't really do anything.. I'm distracted by I don't know what.. hmm
maybe plain laziness.. come on eddie.. get to working quick!

munchkins got spanking new blog. I'm going to help her with the template hopefully tonight. :) she's such a good writer as you can see. go head, leave a note for her

I'm giving up Internet explorer for good la.. too much spyware, etc really slowing things down on my alreaady slow pc at work.. .. using mozilla firefox now like I ought to long time ago..

* help! I have nowhere to go on saturday.. any chicks need a date for saturday? I'm broke and will always try to get into your pants :p hehehe

it all started when a mystery poster posted at sam's blog.. and my nosy self started digging... hacked in to irizanz;s database, grabbed just enough information to trace where that mystery poster was from.. boy... sam been busyyyyyyyyyyyyyy... :) way to go sam!

Wa asked me to try and see if I could get into pipot. and I took it as a challenge, (hehehe boring day today, no shower this morning coz water disruption) and voila.. can you say HACKED?

hmm .. that was fun, maybe I should skip showers more eyy? no?
